Australia's best pies - is there one near you?

Is the best pie in Australia just down the road from you?

The 21st Official Great Aussie Meat Pie competition was judged and presented at Fine Foods 2010 in Melbourne.

The winner, for the second year, is Michael Di Salvatore from Mick's Bakehouse in Wagga Wagga, with his chunky plain pie. He obviously knows just how to make the perfect pie.

The Denmark Bakery is also a place to find a really good pie, with two of the winning gourmet pies, and was the overall Gourmet Winner.
