What does your favourite milkshake flavour mean

Australians love a cold milkshake and a recent study by Hudson Coffee is indicating that our choice of milkshake flavour reflects our personalities.

The study showed that Chocolate reigns supreme as the preferred flavour with 41% of the 497 milkshake drinkers surveyed choosing chocolate as their flavour for that ice cold milkshake.

The people surveyed were chosen to ensure that the group closely reflected the national situation.

Chocolate - Most likely to have a milkshake everyday, not just on weekends or as a treat. The study indicates that they are playful and friendly and can be found at cafes with their friends. They like to be on time and follow rules but don't get too upset if rules are broken when they need to be

Vanilla - these are the conscientious, diligent and responsible ones, who hate breaking rules. They are very organised and prefer watching a movie at home with their friends to partying.

Strawberry -Balanced but playful and friendly. Their obvious trait is being spontaneous and very flexible. They like to share experiences, including milkshakes.

Caramel  - conscientious and responsible and are just as happy having their milkshake alone as with others.

Malt - not really good with keeping time as they are relaxed and probably busy reading a good book. They are reflective and thoughtful, but have a cheeky side.

Coffee - reflective, shy and caring. Are great at budgets and organisation. Usually think of a milkshake as an indulgence or even dessert
