I recently did a Food Safety Supervisor course at Jimboomba. It was only a small class. I went along thinking that I knew a bit about food safety. Hey, I'm a Mum. I run a kitchen at a B&B....nobody ever got sick from my cooking or cleaning!!! How wrong was I!!! It's not just about cooking, I soon found out.
I learned so much over the two days that my head was spinning. Yes, I have become a kitchen nazi. I have taken control of my workspace and put a lot of rules in place. I don't know how long I'll be in this job but what I learnt from this course I can take to the next place or on my travels.
